About the Role

o Directs the day-to-day work activities of coatings construction personnel; Responsible to ensure project and organizational objectives are met safely, with a high standard of consistent quality, and profitably; Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to drawings, specifications, Company standards, procedures and quality expectations.
o Understands and is knowledgeable of internal standards, policies, and procedures for execution of construction operations; Identifies areas for improvement, develops solutions, and implements changes.
o Ensures field personnel are accountable for assigned tasks/projects; Works to ensure that sufficient plans and preparation have been made to allow quality work to be completed in a safe and efficient manner.
o Liaise with Safety Coordinator, Quality Coordinator, and office coordination supervision to ensure high quality work is produced in a safe, efficient manner; Interacts on-site as needed to ensure full compliance.
o Models organizational values; Sets standard for behavior congruent with company ethics, morals, and expectations; Demonstrates character of integrity in day-to-day tasks; Supports company's strategic plan, goals and ideas communicating the core values of the Company through leadership and example.
o Ensures safety policies, procedures, and applicable guidelines are properly followed; Enforce company expectations for all employees in regard to safety, quality, attendance, attitude, effort, employee relations and responsibility for self and others.

Requirements

o High school diploma or GED required.

o Minimum of 7 years of similar experience of progressive responsibility in a supervisory role in a construction execution capacity.

o Demonstrated experience with coating systems and surface preparation.

o Experience directing, training, and motivating field personnel.

o Knowledge and experience overseeing multiple jobs.

o Proficient in documentation and reporting, both digital and handwritten.

o Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

o Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and travel as needed.

o Commitment to upholding high standards of business conduct and maintaining a positive, professional attitude.

o Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

o CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
